Can I replace a sensor while the vessel is at sea?
Yes. The sensor is designed for straightforward replacement. However, it is installed on the reactor body, so the reactor must be drained before removal to prevent water leakage.
What happens if the sensor fails during ballasting?
The system triggers an alarm and may stop pumps (depending on settings) to prevent untreated water from entering tanks. Keeping a spare sensor on board is highly recommended.
